Ranking and remuneration
This is a translation for convenience. The French version is the one that applies.
The Auralist compares offers from several retailers. French law (article L111-7 of the consumer code) asks comparison services to explain how they rank results and how they are paid. Here is how we do it.
What appears
Only pieces officially on sale, at retailers we cover, that match what you asked for: the piece or label, the category and, when you give it, your size and the most you'll pay. A piece out of stock in your size doesn't appear.
In what order
Pieces whose discount we have checked come first, then the others. Within each group, the lowest delivered price in your size comes first. The delivered price includes VAT and delivery to you under the retailer's rules.
Commission never changes the order or whether a piece appears. No retailer can pay to be listed or to be placed higher.
Which retailers
We cover retailers that deliver to the EU with nothing extra to pay on delivery and whose data we are allowed to use: through an affiliate programme, or because the shop agreed in writing. We don't cover every retailer or every offer on the market. The list of retailers will be published here as they join.
How we are paid
The Auralist is free. When you buy at a retailer after following one of our links, the retailer may pay us a commission, through an affiliate network. We have no capital link with any retailer. Retailers don't pay us to appear.
Prices
Each price shows when we last saw it. If it differs from the price at the retailer's checkout, the retailer's price applies. Tell us at contact@theauralist.eu and we'll correct it.
